Several members of MAFC participate in the Angel Flight program that provides free air transportation to certain medical patients.  MAFC aircraft are authorized to be used in an Angel Flight operation.  If you have at least 300 total hours, a current IFR rating, and are a member of MAFC, then you can volunteer your MAFC flight time to provide this worthy service to people that have a financial and medical need for air transportation.   The MAFC member pays for all flight time but the expense is tax deductible.    The newspaper article below highlights a MAFC Angel Flight trip flown in the fall of 2003.  Plus, there are several pictures of other MAFC-sponsored Angel Flights.
